SAF/GCN - Installations, Energy and Environmental Law
Attorneys in the Installations, Energy and Environmental Law Division provide legal advice, counsel, and representation for virtually all matters related to Air Force installations and the environment. These matters include: the acquisition, testing and beddown of new weapon systems; natural resources conservation and management; compliance and remediation requirements and liabilities of federal and state environmental laws and negotiations flowing from them; hazardous waste management and disposal; base closure, realignment and reuse; military construction; real property acquisition, use, management and disposal; and environmental planning, among others. Attorneys of the Installations, Energy and Environmental Law Division primarily serve officials at Headquarters Air Force but can advise clients at all organizational levels of the Air Force. The Division also advises the Center of Excellence for Environment, Facilities and Installations, and the Energy Directorate within the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC).

SAF/GCQ - Acquisition
The Acquisition Division provide advice and assistance on acquisition, technology, and logistics matters. The office provides advice on acquisition policy and contracting procedure and participates in planning, source selection, and execution of major acquisition programs. In addition, attorneys represent the Air Force in the defense of bid protests, oversee contract related litigation, and coordinate remedies on procurement fraud investigations.

SAF/GCR - Contractor Responsibility and Conflict Resolution
The Contractor Responsibility and Conflict Resolution Division leads two unique, specialized programs that protect and promote critical DAF mission objectives. The Acquisition Integrity Program evaluates the ethics and compliance practices of DAF business partners. The office performs contractor and grantee responsibility reviews under FAR Subpart 9.4 and 2 CFR 1125, and pursues all available legal remedies in cases of contractor misconduct. The Conflict Resolution Program spearheads efforts to enhance negotiations skill across the DAF, and promotes the use of Alternative Dispute Resolution to improve conflict management across all disciplines.
